Miranda is an instant messaging client that's effective and easy to use.

Miranda IM is a simple yet powerful instant messenger client designed to be efficient and easy to use.

The program consumes little memory so that the operating system doesn't slow down or suffer, and its size is very small so it's easily transportable on a USB disk or other media. Miranda IM has an extensive system of plugins (more than 130 different ones) which allows for a fully flexible and a la carte program.

It supports multiple protocols, like: ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Tlen, Netsend, IAX, AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) etc. You no longer need to install multiple instant messaging programs on your computer, with Miranda IM in a single application you have all the properties and functions of such programs.
